I created flows and followed the steps but the library logo is just a blank white box and the book image doesn't even appear in the email at all, however the flows are successful. Need help understanding how I can make the images appear correctly.
I think you should extract you image with 'compose action', check if the image exist or not then if it exist set it on image tag
<img src="data:image/jpeg;base64, **** " />
you then insert you image by putting output of image (name of my action)data compose action
