Hello,
I wanted to post from my main account and I want to make sure that the program is amazing and my feedback is simply my 1.43 cents (sorry my stock was down) feedback :-) but hopefully it can help. I had a few others, but these made me ask my mentee to redo the video but it was too late, so again that IS on me.
I have been fortunate enough to have a wonderful mentee going through the Power App side of the challenge and she already turned hers in. It is my own fault for not noticing this until I watched her full video as we had many talks, so this is on me to have noted way earlier.
In the document you have the following for how they should create the columns in their tables.
However, this is a very bad practice
1. You have spaces sometimes and mostly not
2. I would have been nice to explain the difference between the Label (what the UI calls the name), and the schema/logic actual names.
This (and it's this way in your pictures etc too) causes the labels on the screens to be giant strings which is completely incompatible with visual impaired users who would be using screen reading. Sure, it can speed read through it like a blob but it would be a horrible experience.
3. For me its a little confusing because if you just follow the document you create the columns, but since the excel has the read details, saying to use the autonumber is nice, and of course its necessary for them to do some research, playing, learning, etc :-) but that column is annoying lol and always has been, so maybe just a tiny tiny tiny more... called out in the document not just in excel the data types. Just a suggestion as initially I didn't even realize it was wrong until I looked at the Excel and I sped through the entire program to be sure.
