Microsoft:
Can we presume that since Enhanced Component Properties has finally moved from Experimental to Preview after close to 4 years, there is no doubt it will reach General Availability? How can this critical feature not go GA?
I also want to point out that a defect still exists that needs to be addressed. When testing code that exists in an event property (not code in the component), developers cannot put the cursor on any variables or collections and see their current value. Everything always presents as blank. The only way to see the values, and this is a recent change, is to use the variable/collection viewer feature.
Needless to say, this defect makes it very difficult to test code and needs to be fixed. I had hoped that the Microsoft posts from 2023 mentioning code corrections would have caught this, but it still exists even with the new analysis engine.
