Power Automate - Building Flows

Troubleshooting: When a specific planner task is completed, do x

Hi folks!
I'm not a newbie to building within PowerAutomate, but creating a flow to do some actions in Planner is really testing my patience this week. I'm trying to get it to filter and look at a singular task that it created earlier, and if it's done, to move on with the flow.

I have it currently set up to start with creating an "Accept" & "Decline" task and want it to do specific things for each of these when clicked, and for the accept that means create a handfull of more tasks under the same bucket.

I've attached a folder of screenshots to show what the flow looks like when running after I hit the "accept" button in planner, the emails under "false" are just bouncing to me right now to tell me that the false chain worked, but logically they would be empty when this is live.

I know I'm missing something, and this is about the third way I've tried to make this work, pulling a specific earlier task and checking to see if it's been completed, and if so, doing something. Any thoughts on this are appreciated, thanks!!

So if its cool I want to take a step back and lets revisit what you need super simply stated just steps no sentences at all. think business process because something is being lost in translation

    I did get the files.

So please do this and be short by clear, no long sentences and also, and when needed, make sure we know "where" this actio happens

    Steps
    1. I do this in my canvas app
    2. I do that in my email in outlook
    3. I need this to happen
    4. bla bla

Just like that as I believe this is overly complicated and you really shouldn't put Triggers anywhere but the start of your flow, as the event you are looking for should be in its own Triggered Automated Flow, not as part of this one. But if there is information you need out of this Flow in your email that only comes from this flow, then we have to figure that out.

    But they should click something
    You do something
    They do something
    PA triggers and does something

You are essentially treating this like an approval and it isn't so lol don't.

Talk soon once I see the steps :-)

Hi you attached a folder, shared through Ohio State University that we dont have access too unfortunately so we cannot see those.

    Good :-) thought though.

Unfortunately the description does not help with the pictures as I dont know what you are clicking to accept as power automate doesn't have buttons unless your mean PAD and I dont think so.
