Syncronize power automate with form field & column name changes

Issue:

1. Create List

2. Create form to populate list

3. Create PowerAutomate Flow to process list form submissions

4. Change List Form field name

5. PowerAutomate Flow fails

Current Solution:

1. Fix column name to reflect new field name

2. Fix PowerAutomate Flow to reflect new field name

Suggested solution: Syncronize field names, column names, and power automate references to form fields/columns by implementing an underlying unique ID in both form fields and columns so that power automate utilizes the unique ID for actions.

Hi @DF-24112104-0

So there is a little disconnect. You cannot change the "name" of a Column in a List. You can change the Display Name (aka string) but the name itself will stay the same. However if in your app, you are using the display name, then change it (or in Flow) to the actual schema name and then you won't have this issue when you change the display name.

So use the schema name, not the display name instead and change it all you want.
