When starting up a Copilot in Teams where I added files from SharePoint as a data source I get this:

"Additional permissions are required to run this action. To proceed, please select 'Connect', and review any missing connections.

Once you have made these updates, please select 'Retry'. You can also ask me anything else to go to a different topic."

However, this agent has no actions configured. Only topics that let users use specific documents for certain questions. Before I added these files, Teams authentication would take care connecting, but suddenly the user has to do it for SharePoint connections which doesn't make sense to me since all the other knowledge sources are also SharePoint, but just whole sites instead of specific docs.

How can I either automatically connect for my users or not require that they do?

I suppose. And it's really not that big of a deal. I'm just wondering because it didn't do it with SharePoint sites, but did with specific files in SharePoint that are literally on the same sites that are already in there.

after all first deploy you have to connect and accept the sharepoint connector at least one time , everywhere it's used.

I don't really think that helps at all.. I just don't want users to have to manually connect to the resources when they open the copilot. The topic itself works fine after authentication. I'm assuming this is maybe more of a dlp issue, but i dont know

I'm adding SharePoint as a data source by clicking Add Knowledge -> SharePoint -> Browse -> Selecting the specific files from a library. They are hosted in a SharePoint library and are not used in any Power Automate or actions at all. I do use them as knowledge sources within a topics:

    Hi,

How are you adding share point as a data source. Is it through knowledge sources? And are there any connector actions or Power automate flows using Sharepoint connector in your solution?
