I've started experiencing an issue in the past few days related to passing inputs to and receiving outputs from Tools.
So far I've experienced this on the following actions:
- Ask with an Adaptive Card
- Create file - OneDrive for Business
- Agent Flow (Power Automate)
This does not seem to affect Question nodes.
Issue: After configuring an action the inputs and/or outputs don't persist and the variables defined for these inputs/outputs disappear after saving.
As an example, defining the file, folderPath or name input field variables for the Create file in OneDrive for Business tool needs to be repeated from time to time as the inputs get randomly cleared. This does not occur every time the topic is saved; the topic is saved and sometimes able to successfully traverse the action with the defined inputs.
Same with an Adaptive card on the output:
Repeatedly though, sometimes even without making changes to the topic, the Input and Output variables become 'unbound' from the actions. One test conversation it works, and the next test conversation it stops working.
Additional info: This happens on copilotstudio.preview.microsoft.com. Attempting to change to copilotstudio.microsoft.com when in the development environment simply keeps reverts to the preview site.
Any advice or assistance would be appreciated.
