Hello @NN-05080720-0 , You can’t use a SharePoint Lookup column to reference a Person-type column directly. Lookup columns only support basic data types like text, number, and date—not complex types like Person or Group.

Lookup columns in SharePoint are designed to pull simple values from another list.
Person or Group columns are complex objects that include metadata like name, email, job title, and department.
Because of this complexity, they don’t appear as options when configuring a Lookup column.

    Workarounds You Can Use

    1. Use a Text Column Instead
If you only need the person’s name or email:
    •  Create a text column in the source list that stores the person’s name or email.
    •  Then use a Lookup column to reference that text field.

    2. Use Power Automate to Sync Person Data
    •  Create a flow that triggers when a record is created or modified.
    •  Use the flow to copy the Person field from one list to another.
    •  This allows you to simulate a lookup-like behavior while preserving the Person object.

    3. Use Calculated Columns or JSON Formatting
    •  You can use JSON column formatting to display related person info dynamically.
    •  This doesn’t create a true lookup, but it can visually link data between lists.
