when trying to add a tool that i already have in the agent to instructions it says no tool even though i have it in the agent already. So when i do / it says no tools. Worked in the morning today. IT also says it for agent and promts. i have tried singing out . i have delted a agent and created a new one. Anyone one else with this issue?

I am not having any issues:

Maybe try clearing your browser cache if you have not already tried that. However, in your screen shot I do not see that you entered a backslash in the instructions so that the menu opens.

i haave cleared my my browser cache everything allready . still the same iisue after completly reinstalling edge very weird

Have you checked the tools tab to ensure that they are enabled? If I turn off the tools in my agent, I get the same behavior:

If I turn them back on, they show up again. If this is not the issue, I am not sure.

Yeah the tool is on might be a wider microsoft problem using the tool works just fine. just not adding like that inn instructions. It applies to all tools to not just my mcp server.

Hi @DL-25021723-0,

You don't actually need to mark / add the tool inside the instructions for it to work. You can just type the exact name and that will work too.
