Hello everyone.

I'm trying to follow Lesson 7 of Build Apps and Automate tasks. In the video you can see Copilot button and side panel. But I don't have it. Do I need to activate it somewhere?

Thank you.

    Hi,

Yes, you need to enable Copilot preview features to see the button and side panel in Power Apps Canvas Studio, as shown in Matthew Devaney's tutorial (likely on form layouts or multi-page forms).

    Steps to Activate
    1. In Power Apps Studio, select File > Settings > Upcoming features (experimental) (or Settings > Features > Preview).
    2. Turn on Copilot in Power Apps and related toggles like Copilot control or AI components.
    3. Save and refresh the studio; the Copilot pane should appear for AI-assisted editing.

    Environment Checks
Your Power Platform environment must have generative AI enabled: Admin center > Environments > [Your env] > Settings > Product features > Generative AI. If using a default or trial env, switch to one with Copilot support or request admin access

    Thanks!

My Admin portal looks newer. The Copilot settings are not permitted for my account. By the way, the Copilot option is stil available for formulas.
