In Power Platform, the on-premises data gateway enables access to files and data stored on internal servers. To enhance governance and security, especially for sensitive content, it is essential to evaluate the actual content of the file before allowing it to pass through the gateway.
To enhance governance in Power Platform when accessing on-premises files via gateway, we want to introduce a content evaluation layer. This layer would scan file contents against predefined rules (e.g., PII, financial data) before allowing transmission to the cloud. Unlike sensitivity labels, which require manual tagging, this approach enables dynamic, content-based decisions without relying on metadata.
I’d appreciate any suggestions or proposals from the community on how this can be effectively achieved.
