How to check my Copilot Studio license as a user + questions on connectors & credits

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to understand what type of Copilot Studio license I currently have, but I’m not an admin in my organization—just a regular user.

1. How can I check what Copilot Studio license I have?

Specifically, I want to know whether my account is using:

Microsoft 365 Copilot, or

The Copilot Studio prepaid license pack (the ~$200 prepaid pack)

Since I’m not an admin, I can’t view billing or the Microsoft 365 admin center. Is there any way for end users to check their Copilot Studio license type directly from their own account? Or do I need my admin to verify it for me?

2. Does Microsoft 365 Copilot include premium connectors in Copilot Studio?

I can’t find a clear answer on whether the Microsoft 365 Copilot subscription gives access to:

Premium connectors inside Copilot Studio

Or if those require a separate Copilot Studio or Power Platform add-on license

If anyone can clarify, that would be great.

3. How many credits come with the $30 Microsoft 365 Copilot license?

Any insight or documentation links would be really helpful.

the home page in you'r teams is different for the copilot part : it is different you have "web or work" button (sorry for screen in french but you will see where is supposed to be the toggle a top of the screen)

2 : Copilot Studio billing is not like power platform billing, it's not about premium connector or not. It's about how much cost an action. just before i put you the billing rate. Copilot 365 "pro" user don't paid for few action (mostly about conversationnal gen AI) but still pay for complexe action.

3 : see answer just before wich explain how it work. There is no prepaid message comming with it

Folow up question/answer :

If you have copilot 365, you could have an "agent builder" link to it (you will the button call agent builder) but you'r IT could disable IT

Having copilot 365 don't automatically allow you to be a copilot studio maker :

- IT need to give you a copilot studio user licence (my first screenshot)

- IT need to give you access to a maker environnement wich copilot studio enable and copilot credit assigned to unlock publishing capacity

- (Optionnal depending on IT rules) : IT need to add you to the allowed user to publish agent

- (Optionnal depending on IT rules) : IT could have block the publishing in Teams

- User will consume the copilot credit after you publish it

Recommandation : contact you'r IT , each company have it's own rulz and local governance, they will appreciate to be contacted and will help you (in most company - or a least they will tell you why "no" )
