Hola:

Estoy preparando el examen oficial PL-900: Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals y estoy valorando realizarlo desde casa, en modalidad online.

¿Alguien de la comunidad lo ha hecho así? Me gustaría conocer vuestra experiencia:

¿Cómo fue el proceso de identificación y comprobación de la habitación?
¿Tuvisteis algún problema técnico o con la conexión?
¿Fue necesario retirar todos los objetos de la mesa o enseñar toda la estancia?
¿El examen oficial difiere mucho, en dificultad o tipo de preguntas, del examen de práctica de Microsoft Learn?
¿Qué recomendaciones me daríais para evitar incidencias y afrontar mejor el examen?

I have taken Microsoft certification exams from home, and overall the process is quite straightforward. A few tips from my experience:

Run the system test beforehand using the same computer and internet connection you plan to use for the exam.

Use a quiet, private room where no one will enter during the exam.

Keep your desk completely clear except for the computer and permitted items. It makes the check-in process easier.

Keep your ID ready and make sure the name matches your exam registration.

During check-in, you may be asked to take photos/show your desk and surrounding area, so prepare the room beforehand.

Join/check in early rather than waiting until the scheduled exam time.

Close unnecessary applications and disable anything that could generate pop-ups or notifications.

If possible, use a stable internet connection and keep your laptop connected to power.

Once the exam starts, avoid looking away from the screen, talking/reading questions aloud, or leaving your seat, as these can get the proctor's attention.

Regarding preparation, the Microsoft Learn practice assessment is useful, but don't rely only on memorizing those questions. Make sure you understand the concepts covered in the PL-900 study guide.

My main recommendation is to prepare your computer and room well in advance. That removes most of the stress on exam day, and then you can focus entirely on the exam.

tengo alguna que otra duda:

* Entiendo que las credenciales que me pediran es mi DNI?

* Como se con certeza si el examen en español esta actualizado con el temario? he visto que se ha actualizado ahora en julio y que no entra power pages. Quería examinarme la semana que viene pero no estoy segura si entonces saldran pregunas de pages.

* El examen oficial se parece al que hay de prueba? o es mas difícil/fácil?

* Yo haré el examen en castellano, el texto es 100% en castellano? o me puedo encontrar palabras en ingles tipo;

aplicación de lienzo / basada en modelo → canvas / model-driven

flujo de nube / de escritorio → cloud flow / desktop flow

flujo de proceso de negocio → business process flow

For you DNI, Pearson VUE asks for a valid photo ID, so if your DNI has your photo and the name matches your exam registration, it should be fine.

Spanish exam: Localized versions are typically updated around 8 weeks after the English version is updated. So, if Power Pages was only recently removed from the English exam, there is a possibility you could still see Power Pages questions in the Spanish version.

Practice vs. real exam: The practice assessment is helpful, but the actual exam can be more scenario-based.

Language: The exam should be in Spanish, but I’d still recommend being familiar with common English terms like Canvas App, Model-driven App, Cloud Flow, Desktop Flow, etc.
