Hi All,
We are trying to export data from msdyn_projecttask (Project Tasks table that belongs to Project for the web). But we are getting "Connection to dataverse failed . Please check the link below on how to fix this issue." error.

Can you tell us why?
I have the same question (0)

I am having the same issue in my dev and production environments.  If I backup my dev, create a new environment, and restore to the new environment, there is no problem in the new environment.  Import also does not work.  I have another thread on this and see yet another person with the same issues.

Have any logs in your environment? For example in the system jobs?

It is good to open the Developer toolbar (F12 or ctrl + shift + i) of your browser and look at network trace to get more details.

Project Operations uses PSS API which is no fun. However the PSS Api is used more for CRUD on msdyn_Projectmsdyn_ProjectTask entity, there's a chance that the same framework is breaking internally, try to use the classic advanced find and see if you get the same error, else I'd open a support request

    Hi,

We also experience the same issue and import failures on some of our environments.
I have found a workaround, atleast working for me.

    1. Use the Edit with Excel feature
    2. Connect to the Power Platform Environment (it will ask to login)
    3. It will read data into the Excel sheet and save this as CSV file.
    4. Edit the CSV file with a text editor and replace semicolon with comma.
    5. Save the CSV file.

This CSV file can be used to import. If importing gives a HTTP error use the import function within the advanced settings view (there it works)
    Hope this helps.

    Kind Regards,

The Dataverse connection might have been disconnected. To solve this, head to Connection tab and search for Dataverse connection. Then click on Reconnect. If you are seeing multiple connections and are disconnected., try reconnecting for all the connections.

I hope this resolves your issue. If it does, please mark it as a solution or let me know in the comments.

    Thank you.

    Regards,
    Sandeep.
