Implement OTP in Power Pages for Customer registration

Hi all,
 
Grateful if someone can help/guide me please in the following scenario.
 
I want to create a portal in Power Pages and would like to include a customer registration functionality.
For the registration functionality, there should be an OTP that is generated from the portal and send to the customer's email and/or mobile number to complete the registration.
 
Any help would be greatly appreciated about how to proceed.

    Hey there, 
    You can check the following documentation.
     
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-pages/security/authentication/set-authentication-identity

    This basically tells you that there is a way to enable 2 Factor Authentication but a little different that the way you were describing.

    Hope this helps out.

    Please note, the first response is only relevant for Local Login (which will be deprecated and is not recommended by Microsoft) & only for works for Email (the mobile option was removed some time ago).
     
    I haven't done it myself, but have seen Azure/Entra B2C being used as the external identity provider with the Azure B2C having OTP (note, OTP is Azure/Entra B2C and nothing on the portal side of things other than configuring B2C as the external identity provider for the portal).
