Co-authoring International Bug

When co-authoring is turned on and my Italian colleague accesses the app in edit mode, it breaks.

As an example it changes all the ',' to '.' to meet the requirement for the application being loaded in Italian, but this causes the app to break as it was built in English and it throws a load of error messages. There seems to be a conflict between the language expectations.

I've restored the previous version and turned off co-authoring.

This is not a bug reporting Forum, its a community ask forum

Please do not log bugs here the team isn't looking for them

Also, if you do not want answers, then make it clear in your posts

I'm posting this for Microsoft to acknowledge it as a bug and fix it. This is how they apparently want bugs reported.

Did I answer your question? If so I'd be grateful for a Marked as answer and maybe a like :-)

I wish there was a better answer :-(

Yes that is accurate. Right now I would not do co authoring unless you all have the same Language settings. Unfortunately it will in fact break due to the exact thing you are stating.

Also is this in a Model drven or Canvas (I am betting canvas but it doesn't say)

The thing is and this is documented.
    • The app language is locked to the locale of the first maker who opens the app for editing.

So yes I would expect it to break for you. Not so much "as intended" but as intended.

It sucks but this is the answer :(, if you dont mind Marking it as search for others to be able to find
