Hi Everyone,

Some people in our Project is facing below error when trying to access Custom Page in Model Driven App

Below are the things we have checked
  • The connection used in the custom page is shared with everyone in the org
  • I am able to access it but people who have similar Security Roles were not able to access the Custom Page
  • System Admins are also unable to access it.
What else should I check?

AppForbidden Error when trying to access the Custom Page in Model Driven App
    Hi,

From this error message it looks like somewhere you are using the old Microsoft Dataverse (legacy) connector and this uses person connections.

Check inside your page what data connections you have and remove any Microsoft Dataverse (legacy) connections. You could remove and add all dataverse tables to check you are using the new connector.

You could also search  by using  Ctrl+F in the editor and search for: CommonDataService, commondataserviceforapps, or [@ (sometimes legacy-bound data sources are referenced with app-scope names).

Check connection references in your solution for the Microsoft Dataverse (legacy) connector and view the dependancies for this connector. Delete and use the new Dataverse connector.

Also you can check if your page is calling a flow and if so is this using the Microsoft Dataverse (legacy) connector.

If you make any changes to your page remember to publish your page and your model driven app to test the changes.

If this doesn't resolve the issue then you could check your DLP policy or use the monitor session when playing the model driven app to see exactly which connection is failing. Hope this helps and post more details of what you try.

If this resolves the issue then please mark this answer as resolve.
