Good morning,

I have created an app with a gallery that displays attachments from a sharepoint list. I have the gallery set up to display the attachment and a few options to email it, open it online to download, etc. Everything works great. The only thing that bugs me is that most of the attachments are excel, word, pdf, etc. so the gallery screen is blank. I know that these file types wont be displayed in powerapps, but what i am asking is there a way for the gallery to display anything at all in regards to the attachment like an excel symbol if it is an excel document or anything?

Quite a few people on these forums helped me out with a couple things and you all have been great and the help is more than appreciated a lot ........ I'm learning quite a bit from you guys.

Gallery of sharepoint attachments

When you use a gallery to display the attachment, you should be able to access the file name "I believe through the .Name" property

This will contain the file name and extension name.

What you can do then, for example, is to use an Image control and use a Switch command that checks the file name, and based on the extension type, display different pictures.
