Table's View does not populate with the actual view columns into canvas app

Hi,

As part of power up challenge, I need to populate the view of Parking Inspections of Today in the Canvas App's Review screen, which contains the columns of Parking Inspection & Vehicle. But when I select the table and its view from 'Insert Table' menu item in the App's screen, I see only the default columns of Parking Inspection all the time. 2 Issues here.

Defined columns of the view Parking Inspections of Today are never shown up.
Using the edit fields in the table's properties in the app, I can add the columns of the table Parking Inspection. But cannot add the columns of the referenced table Vehicle.

Has anyone come across this issue. From the internet search, it looks like an ongoing issue.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
