Inquirty about Power Platform training in Yaounde

Hello,

My name is Nadia, and i would like to know what it takes to get proper training in the Power Platform field in Yaounde, Cameroon.

I am currently a program manager and would like to change career direction and move into Power Platform. However, I have not been able to find anyone or any institution that offers in-depth training that helps beginners truly understand the concepts and platforms. Most of what I see are one-day trainings focused mainly on passing the certification exam. I feel this alone would not give me the full understanding and practical exposure i am looking for.

I do not have an IT background, and I am not sure if this will be a major limitation for me. Initially, I was interested in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, but I was advised against it due to my limited technical background. This is why i decided to explore Power Platform, hoping it might be less technical. Please correct me if i am mistaken.

I would be very grateful for any advice, guidance or recommendations that could help me gain solid knowledge and skills in this domain.

here is what I would do

1. Sign up for the PowerUp program.

2. if you are female then sign up for #WomenInPower(Platform) so you can get a mentor.

3. Start here - Welcome Recruit | Agent Academy

4. Go here - Browse all training - Training | Microsoft Learn (<== is power platform) has dozens of tracks to learn

5. Here - Microsoft Power Customer Advisory Team

There are others as well, I do trainings and while they are there to help people pass certifications, my trainings are about learning the platform, not learning a specific thing.

So be on the look out for when I do my free trainings.

I would suggest using Microsoft learn, Use the "prepare for exam" sections in PL-900, PL-200 etc certification pages where you will find Microsoft learn paths, in this way you will learn every tool level by level.

For Co-Pilot, you can learn it using Copilot Studio Agent Academy https://microsoft.github.io/agent-academy/ (hands on)

I would also suggest signing up for Power up Program https://powerup.microsoft.com/ (free)
