I added PowerApps to Teams then commence creating a new App.
I clicked on the PowerApps is ready to go message in my Activity screen. Then I selected 'start now'.
I selected the shared Team (I'm an owner).
I received the message Build tab was not able to load. 'Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'name')'
I have the same question (2)

Could you provide a screenshot of the error message please?

Have you accessed power apps before? Could you try going to a browser and going to https://make.powerapps.com

    Thanks!

Hello @SM-12110139-0 , this error usually happens when Power Apps for Teams can't properly load the Build tab due to a backend or configuration issue often tied to missing environment data or preview features.

    What you can try:
    • Switch to a different Team or environment: Sometimes the shared Team isn’t fully initialized for Power Apps. Try creating the app in a different Team and see if the Build tab loads.
    • Clear browser cache or use a different browser: This can help if the issue is tied to a stale session or corrupted local data.
    • Check if Dataflows or preview features are enabled: Some users have reported this error when preview features like Dataflows are active but not properly configured.
    • Use Power Apps Studio directly: Instead of launching from Teams, go to make.powerapps.com and build the app there, then add it to your Team afterward.
    • Verify permissions: Even if you're listed as an owner, double-check that you have full app creation rights in the Team and environment.

If the issue persists, it may be worth raising a support ticket with Microsoft especially if it’s happening across multiple Teams or environments.
