Body (İçerik):
Hi all,
I’m looking for a way to retrieve metadata for all versions of all files stored in a SharePoint Online site, including files inside folders and subfolders — and make this data available in Power BI via Power Query.
My key goals:
Extract version-level metadata (e.g., version number, modified date, modified by, size, etc.)
Include files from all nested folders (not just top-level)
Minimize licensing needs — ideally using standard Power BI and built-in connectors
I would like to achieve this with Power Query directly, if possible — or via Power Automate or Graph API, but only if required and still usable from Power BI without Premium or additional services.
Is there a recommended approach, connector, or Power Query method that supports loading version-level metadata from SharePoint?
Any guidance, examples, or best practices would be very much appreciated!
Thanks a lot in advance
Best regards,
Evren
