Currently, we can only add Copilot Studio agents in the new experience, excluding Agent2Agent and other options.
I can understand the absence of Fabric, Foundry, and Microsoft 365 Agents SDK agents since they're still in Preview, but is there any plan to support the addition of external agents (including Agent2Agent) in the new experience?
At the time of writing, Microsoft has not published a public roadmap or ETA for supporting external or Agent2Agent agents in the new Copilot Studio experience. Given Microsoft's broader investment in interoperable AI agents and multi-agent orchestration, it's a capability many customers are interested in, but there is no official commitment or release date yet.
If this functionality is important for your solution, the best course of action is to:
Submit the request through the Power Platform Ideas portal or your Microsoft account team.
Monitor the Power Platform Release Plans and Copilot Studio What's New documentation for announcements, as new agent interoperability features are typically introduced there before general availability.
For now, if you need to integrate with external agents, exposing them as APIs or tools remains the recommended and supported pattern.
