Connecting to end points which have a self-signed certificate

Hello,
 
I searched for an answer but didn't see anything recent so if I missed something, I do apologize.  I have a scenario where a client has an on-prem system which uses a self-signed certificate.  My recollection (and older posts) seemed to indicate that this was an issue with Power connectors since there doesn't appear to be a way to disable SSL verification.  Is that still the case?    Even with Postman, I can't connect until I disable SSL verification.   I vaguely recall running into this issue before and the client had to get a signed certificate from a trusted CA for the connector to work.

    Using self-signed certificates can pose security risks, especially if not managed properly. It's essential to ensure that the certificate is securely stored and that only authorized personnel have access.
     
    The most straightforward solution is to replace the self-signed certificate with one issued by a trusted CA. This ensures that the certificate is recognized and trusted by external systems, including Power Platform connectors.
