Filter Odata query not working with variables- BC connector

I have built an agent & connected it to Business central through a connector called "find records". This tool works fine with static value in input "filter odata query" but whenever I am using variables, it stops working. Either it takes blank variable or says no inventory found against the Item Number. My project is to connect BC (Business central) in copilot studio & publish an agent on Teams app so that our sales persons can ask about the inventory (In stock) details. Please help me to understand whether this is a limitation of copilot studio or I am doing something wrong?
