Text Box oscillating between number of lines causing a screen flicker

Hi, we're creating a PowerApp that allows colleagues to manage their species, habitat and activity targets for conservation objectives. We've encountered an issue which is causing an accessibility and usability concern - shown in the attached video. Does anyone know a good way to resolve this as it happens much more often than we would like. We would like the height to adjust to the length of comment if possible however the length of the text is unpredictable as determined by what the user needs to record so we don't want to just set a standard height. Our users use a variety of device display sizes too. Any ideas?

PLEASE DON'T WATCH THE VIDEO IF YOU'RE SENSITIVE TO A FLICKERING SCREEN.

    Hi @DavyB

It looks like you might be using a standard gallery control.

The solution to issue is to use a flexible height gallery instead.

If you set the auto height property of a label to true, the row will dynamically grow in height to accommodate the content.

In the screenshot below, I added a 'single line text' row with a single line of text. Note how this and the height of the other rows are sized appropriately to display the contents.

Sorry @timl, I think that's my bad posting at the start. We're using the Flexible Height Gallery and have Auto height Set to On. It might be this functionality which is causing the dancing text in the video.

    Hi @DavyB

    Thanks for the clarification.

The next thing I would check is what type of control you're using in the gallery template. If it's a 'classic' text label control, is the overflow property set to hidden? The hidden setting should prevent the scrollbar appearing next to the label and should in theory stop the flickering.
