Hi All

One of my users has a Developer Environment with Power Pages. Is it possible to promote a Developer Environment directly to Production?

Also, is it possible to convert or promote a Developer Environment to a Sandbox environment?

No, a Power Platform Developer Environment cannot be directly promoted or converted into a Production or Sandbox environment.

Developer environments are intended for individual development, learning, and testing scenarios, and Microsoft does not provide a supported mechanism

to change the environment type after it has been created.

If you need to move a solution from a Developer environment to a Sandbox or Production environment, the recommended approach is to follow standard

Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practices.

Developer environments cannot be converted or promoted to Sandbox or Production. Microsoft only supports type conversion between Sandbox ↔ Production, not from Developer type.

The recommended path is standard ALM — export your solution from the Developer environment and import it into a proper Sandbox or Production environment.
