Network error when using Patch function: The requested operation is invalid

Hi, 
I am getting this error when patching a choice field. 
The scenario is as followed.
I have a gallary. In the gallary for the item I have a check box. When i Check the box I want the current Item to change status from "new" to "completed". 
In the OnCheck i have this code:
 
when I try to check the box i get this error:

    Hi,
     
    You can use the 'IfError' function to validate what's wrong, but my feeling is you have a business required field which is not fed (like Name column). Use this:

    IfError(
        yourPatch,
        Notify(FirstError.Message, NotificationType.Error),
        Notify("", NotificationType.Success)
    )
     
    Then, you should be able to validate what is wrong.
