Replicating Premium Planner UI inside Power Apps

We have a system that require accessing SharePoint lists and Premium Planner. my suggestion to the customer , was to access the planner through the premium planner UI and SharePoint through the Power Apps.. but they refuse to have 2 interfaces to access the system components. so i have a geenral question, is it technically possible to replicate the Premium Planner Interface inside power apps?

This seems to be the same subject as this earlier thread of yours.

As I mentioned in the other post, the issue all relates to connectors. Any user opening the app needs to authenticate that they have appropriate permissions/licence to use all connections - the app will not open for them unless this is done. if you have a premium connector of any kind connected to the app (including possibly via a connected Flow), they will need an appropriate licence. Power Apps does not know or care if they actually use the connection in the app.

Whilst technically it's possible to replicate the Premium Planner interface, I would say the practical answer is no.

There's no native way to support the drag-and-drop interactions for board columns or timeline adjustments. You'll need to implement this by building PCF controls.

The charting, gnatt, and timeline views are also impossible to recreate natively, particularly with the dependency connectors, zoom levels, and other features.

You'll pretty much need to rewrite the whole thing using PCF and then there's always the risk that delegation limitations and non-optimal data retrieval makes the whole thing perform poorly. I really don't think it's worth the effort.

Technically, yes, you can recreate parts of the Premium Planner experience in Power Apps, but it comes with significant limitations.

You can build custom task boards, galleries, forms, and basic planning features using Power Apps and the appropriate connectors. However, advanced Planner capabilities such as drag-and-drop boards, timeline/Gantt views, dependency management, and interactive scheduling are not available out of the box. Replicating these features would require extensive custom development, likely with PCF controls, and may introduce performance and maintenance challenges.

For most scenarios, it's more practical to integrate with Planner rather than trying to fully replicate its UI and functionality inside Power Apps.
