Issue with Copilot 365 Calling a BotFramework v4 Skill

Hello everyone,

I'm extending Microsoft Copilot 365 using an Agent created with Copilot Studio.

In this Agent, I successfully added a skill, which is a bot built with BotFramework v4—in this case, a simple EchoBot for testing purposes.

When I test my Agent in Copilot Studio, everything works fine.

However, when I test it in Microsoft Teams or on the web (https://m365.cloud.microsoft/chat), Copilot is able to call my Agent, but when my Agent tries to send a response (activity), Copilot just displays an error message instead of processing the reply.

The error message is always this:

The issue does not seem to be with the skill bot itself, as everything works as expected. I have even tested the skill bot directly in Teams, and it responds correctly.

Additionally, I tested the skill using the new Microsoft 365 Agents SDK, and I encountered the same error. You can reproduce the issue using the EchoBot sample: https://github.com/microsoft/Agents-for-net/tree/main/src/samples/CopilotStudioEchoSkill

Has anyone encountered a similar issue? Any insights into what might be causing this?

Thanks in advance!
