This just means, that it expects that you type a message in there. Think of this like a ToolTip but for folks wth disabilities.
Having it blank is why you are getting an error/warning.
Please Type a message that can be Read out oud and makes sense and it will go away. A nice sentence descriptor in double quotes, for each control.
Example: "This is the back button and will return you to the home screen", so visually impaired folks can know what they selected or is tabbed too by the screen reader reading it to them.
