Document Processor (Preview) - Cannot upload files > 1MB

Hi,

I am using the Document Processor (Preview) to build a POC that only needs to extract data from PDF and Excel Files and put the extracted data in Dataverse.
The agent works after some tinkering with the instructions as we need but I have the following issue:

PDF files up to 1MB can be uploaded and the data can be extracted without problems.
PDF files larger than 1MB immediately state 'the conversation state is to large'.

According to the documentation the limitations are:
- A maximum file size of 25MB
- A maximum of 50 pages
- Must be .PNG, .JPG, .JPEG or .PDF
- Table data could need more manual verification

If I look at the documentation a file of 1.5MB with 3 pages and just a table containing 19 rows should not be an issue.
A PDF smaller than 1 MB with the same layour but 5 pages and larger table works fine.

Is there some other limitation or is this a limitation of license?
I am currently working on a temporary tenant, which will be deleted later this year. I have a trial license on this tenant.

Kind Regards,

Jeannot Thewissen

    Hi Jeannot,

Did you follow the documentation for the Document Processor (Preview) Documentation?

I’m experiencing a similar issue with the question node in Copilot Studio agent topics. I get the same error message when I try to upload a file larger than 10MB.

Hopefully, we’ll get some clarification soon regarding the document processor and file upload limits.

Until then, have a great day!

    Cheers,
    Yumin
