Hello,

I'm experiencing an issue and need your assistance. I can't find [@Checkoutstatus].available in my app.

Could you please help me resolve this?

I've attached an image showing the App Checker errors for reference.

Can I set up a meeting link, please share with me your email so that i can send you the meeting link.

Looking forward to your swift response.

Thank you.

    Hello @w.p

Thank you so much for your support! This has resolved the issue I was facing.

I actually tried that approach before but wasn’t sure why it wasn’t working for me.

Really appreciate your help! Thanks again.

    Hello,

    I appreciate everyone’s responses.

I went back and rewatched the video (6. Add Checkout Screen and Forms to My Canvas App) from the beginning and attempted the practical again. Unfortunately, I’m still unable to move past this phase.

I’m trying to filter a combo box in Power Apps to display only available books by checking the CheckOutStatus field in my BookCopies data source. However, I’m encountering this issue:

Unable to find [@CheckOutStatus].available. It seems that PowerApps is not recognizing CheckOutStatus.

How should I correctly reference it in my filter formula?

The attached screenshot (titled "Video Screenshot") is from the practical video provided.

I would greatly appreciate any full support on this.

    Thanks!

With regard to this request, I suggest that you raise this at the QA meeting on Teams this Wednesday (12th March 2025). You can share your screen and one of the champs will be able to assist you.

    Is [@Checkoutstatus] a Choice?

As the previous person noted it can be an issue in IntelliSense, but can you clarify what does can't find mean.

In the picture you are showing a Book Copy (drop down?? combobox??). So it seems like you are trying to Filter a Choice Value in an Items property so you want to  show only the books that are Available.

But you didn't say whether its SharePoint or Not.

Example Answer: SharePoint Version (NOTE: see dataverse example at the bottom)
I added a Choice Column to my Existing Example List
You can see I have 2 items that are marked available, Michael Gernaey and Stephanie Tate

Now in my UI I have a combobox
Then I set my Items property AND i set the Primary Text and Search Field so it shows names
Now in my drop down you only see the 2

So thats how you filter in SharePoint with a single select choice

    DataVerse Choice(Option) Example filter

I added a Choice to my example sample Table
Added it to my Example App (in the same one as the SharePoint example)
And here is my Filter, and you can only see

    Filter(ExampleUsers, Checkoutstatus = 'Checkoutstatus (ExampleUsers)'.available)

This is possibly an issue with the intellisense in the editor.

If you type check instead of [@c as you showed in your screenshot, does the [@CheckOutStatus] option appear for you?

I just tested this and it appears as shown below.

    Hi,

Pictures are great I love them :-), but it's nice to write a short description of what type of app, explain what checkout status etc is.

The pictures you shared I don't understand them relative (#1 and #2) to your question.

Please add some detail around the issue
