Manual authentication for publishing custom agent to m365 app.

Hi guys, I have a doubt

I am building a custom copilot agent. I am using manual authentication in my authentication settings with Microsoft Entra ID V2 with federated credentials for my copilot agent. This agent works well in my custom website and demo website, but when I choose to publish this agent inside m365 app and click on see available agent in m365 app, it fails with error "System error. Please contact IT admin".  What might be the potential setting that I am missing ?

I was trying to read a blog or document on this but could not find any where it says that manual authentication is not for publishing to m365 app. 

Ps : I am new to Copilot agent development. Any assistance will be appreciated.

    Since you are accessing SharePoint, which requires authentication, the answer is no.
     
    Agents... aren't really intended to be anonymous OR authenticated at the same time.

    Thanks for the prompt response. I appreciate it. 
     
    So if I wish to have the same agent publisher across all channels (including M365/Teams and custom website). Is it not possible as I can have only one authentication enabled ?

    You cannot use manual authentication, you need to turn on M365/Teams authentication, add the channel for each.
    Depending on your Tenant settings you would share it to the Tenant and then the Admin would go into M365/Teams admins and approve and publish it.
     
    So make sure to chat with the admin to validate (also depends on what Environment you are using btw)
