Multiple answer from child agents in orchestrator

Hello!

I build an orchestrating agent in co-pilot studio, with 3 child agents connected to it (Confluence, Jira and Sharepoint). All topics are turned off.

For each question i get 3 answers - the first only from the sharepoint, and the rest sometimes combimed and sometimes seperately from each chil agent.
How can I ensure (Instructions aren't enough) that i get one answer that incorporates the data from all 3 sources?

Multiple answer from child agents in orchestrator

Hey @MR-28111618-0,

Best to my knowledge, I dont think You can currently “force-merge” answers from multiple child agents into a single synthesized reply in the way you’re expecting; what you’re seeing is how orchestrated agents work today.

What you can realistically do:

Make one child agent the “primary”
Put your “answer-synthesis” logic into one child agent (e.g. a custom child called “Knowledge Orchestrator”) that:
Has access to all three data sources (Confluence, Jira, SharePoint) via connectors.
Is responsible for doing the cross-source retrieval and writing a single answer.
Then:
Orchestrating agent → routes to this one child.
That child itself queries Confluence/Jira/SharePoint and merges results.
