Trigger Conditions

I am attempting to add a trigger condition that starts when a user changes a status to approved. This then would send an email telling a seperate user their ticket is closed and date updated.
 

I have generated a trigger condition but when I try to test it nothing happens. I do not get any errors just nothing happens. I have checked the trigger condition several times and changed it but I get the same issue. Never an error just nothing happens.
 
As you can see Test is not shaded out but when I click there is no response and a test will not even start to run.

    Are the previous runs for sure an Approved state change?
     
    Also, I see you have a split configured, how come?
