Timeline - Use Search timeline to filter emails using "From" / "To"

Hi ,

I'm trying to find a solution to :

A user goes to one case/incident and that case/incident has a lot of email's on the timeline , there is a way to use the Search timeline to filter by the From or To related to the emails?

Timeline search doesn’t support filtering by From/To — it’s mainly

keyword search across activity content, not field-level filtering.


For more precise filtering, would recommend to try Advanced Find on the

Email table and filter by From / To.

No, not directly — the Timeline search in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement does not support filtering emails by “From” or “To” fields out of the box.

Use:

Advanced Find / Views (recommended)

Or custom UI for better filtering
