Greetings, everyone!

Upon deploying the Canvas App to production, it should display a popup prompting users to refresh the app in order to connect with the latest version. However, this popup appears only for 90% of the users, while the remaining users can still access the previous version. This situation poses a risk for those users, as there might be changes in the backend flow or potential errors triggered by outdated versions.

Over the past two months, we have been releasing the app on a weekly basis, and this issue emerged just last week.

Have there been recent changes that caused this behavior?

How can we ensure that a popup message is consistently shown to all users whenever a new version of the app is published?

Facing the same issue.
Previously thought the refresh bar issue on publishing the app was due to the type of environment the App was developed in.
However, I have tried this in Developer, Sandbox & Production environments, the issue is prevalent everywhere.

Hii,

1. Popup Only Prompt when user is login to power apps and you published app in your production Environment.

2. if user login or using after publishing app then user will get newest version automatically

3. you can give app versions number at bottom so user can able to identify the which version they are using

4. if current session is least in that case user will not get refresh button

its not just you, i've been asking around and it seems to happening to others since i noticed on friday. seems to be hit or miss when clearing cache as well

There is no way to guarantee that the popup will show up for everyone or when, there just is not.
