Connecting Calendar Control to Data

Hi guys! Quite new to using PowerApps but having issues connecting my calendar control to Sharepoint Lists, Outlook, etc. Tried to connecting to both and it completely wipes everything off my calendar control except the circle under the numbers. Wondering if anyone has encountered this before? Thanks in advance! 
 
 
 
 Also after undoing the connection, all of the calendar date buttons are visible.
