Missing Dependencies (Microsoft Dynamics Scheduling & Project Service) in managed solution

Hello everyone,

I am trying to install a managed solution in my Dynamics 365 environment (Sandbox), but I am encountering errors related to missing dependencies:

  1. Microsoft Dynamics Scheduling
  2. Project Service
  3. msdyn_ProjectServiceCore

I attempted to resolve this by checking Dynamics 365 Apps in the Power Platform Admin Center, but these apps are not available for installation.

    • Region-Specific Availability: Some apps, like Project Service, may only be available in specific regions. Verify that your environment's region matches the app's availability.

    • Licensing Requirements: Ensure you have the necessary licenses for the missing apps. For example, Project Service might require a Dynamics 365 Project Operations license.

Most times when you encounter missing dependencies while trying to import a solution to another environment, check that your connection reference are exported with the solution. Most times its the absence of connection reference . Create a connection reference within you solution before you export. Kindly provide a screenshot of the error provided for better clarity.

    Hi Mike,

    Thank you for your reply

I opened my environment in the Power Platform Admin Center and navigated to Resources → Dynamics 365 Apps → Install App. I searched for Project Operations, but it was not listed. I then clicked on Open AppSource to try installing the app from there, but I still couldn't find it.

While coming to license what kind of license should I need ?
Can you give some clarity over there??

    Hi

It will depend on what licenses you have. Those particular things need a license for those.

Do you have a license for those?

Also, when you say not available, do you mean you do not see them? Or you aren't allowed to enable them?

Can you share a picture please
