column value not shown when in view or edit mode

I'm building a multi-date selection feature using Power Apps in a customized SharePoint form. The selected dates are stored in a SharePoint field called [WorkDay事项完成日期] its DataCard is "for Powerapps_DataCard2", formatted as a semicolon-separated string, for example:
 
My question is 

In New mode, everything works as expected: users can select multiple dates, which are stored in a local collection colDates, and displayed in a Gallery.

However, in Edit or View mode, I want to load the previously saved dates from the SharePoint field into colDates so they can be displayed in the Gallery. The problem is:

In Edit or View mode, the Gallery does not show any dates—it behaves as if it's in New mode, with an empty collection.

How should I do to show these dates value when users checking in Edit or Read Mode?

    Assume that you gallery and form use the same data source.
    Have you assigned the Item property = Gallery1.Selected for example for your form ?
     
    Update:
    in the edit/view mode of the form, make sure you don't use the collection which stores data from your new mode of the form, it should use the data from sharepoint.
