Lock Position of Drop Down in Container - Responsive App

Please help.  I am rebuilding a desktop app to be responsive for employees on mobile devices.  I currently have a form linked to my app.  The Start/End date and time are fields in my Sharepoint list however I had to add an AM/PM drop down for both the start date and end date.  I have a container set in my app but how do I add the AM/PM drop down boxes next to the start and end date and lock their position.  I have attached photos for reference.  It looks fine in the edit screen but when in preview mode they move since I'm not able to figure out how to set them in the form container.

    Hi,

When controls look correct in edit mode but shift in Preview or on mobile, it’s usually because they are positioned using X and Y coordinates instead of being managed by a layout container.

In responsive Power Apps, controls should be placed inside containers so the layout engine handles alignment automatically.

    So please follow below :
    • Unlock the Start Date DataCard.
    • Insert a Horizontal container inside the DataCard (Insert → Layout → Horizontal container).
    • Set the container’s Width = Parent.Width and adjust the Gap property if spacing is needed.
    • Move the Date Picker, Time dropdown, and AM/PM dropdown inside the horizontal container (confirm in Tree View that they are nested under it).
    • Avoid using X and Y properties for positioning.
    • Set responsive widths such as Parent.Width * 0.5, or enable Flexible width if using modern controls.

Repeat the same steps for the End Date DataCard.

Using a horizontal container ensures the AM/PM dropdown stays aligned next to the date and time fields and maintains its position consistently in Preview and on mobile devices.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks!
