Power apps templates not available on power apps

I have no templates section in my maker portal. Have they been removed? If so are they available elsewhere such as GitHub?

    Templates aren't on the default page anymore. But if you go to the new app menu you will see an entry that will take you to a list of Templates.

    Templates are still available in Power Apps—they’re just relocated and slightly de-emphasized. You can access them via the Create menu, home tiles, or search, and for more advanced scenarios, GitHub is now a key source.
     
    The Templates section in Microsoft Power Apps hasn’t been removed—it has simply been relocated as part of the recent UI redesign.
     
    Where to find templates now
     
    You can access built-in templates through: (As above suggested by Pstork1 )
     
    Create Menu
    • Go to Create from the left navigation → scroll down past “Start from” (Data, Page design, etc.) → you’ll find Start from template
    Home Page Tiles
    • On the landing page, look for “Start with an app template” → this opens templates like Help Desk, Budget Tracker, Service Desk
    Search Bar
    • Type “templates” or a specific template name in the top search bar to find them quickly
    Why templates may seem missing
    Environment limitations
    • Some templates require Dataverse and only appear if it’s enabled
    Navigation changes
    • The left menu is customizable—if “Create” isn’t pinned, check More and re-pin it
    GitHub and external samples
     
    Microsoft has also moved many advanced templates to GitHub:
    • Microsoft Power Platform templates (GitHub)
      • Enterprise-ready solutions (e.g., procurement, recognition apps)
    • Power Apps Samples (PnP GitHub)
      • Large collection of community-driven apps and components
