Please can you let me know why certain changes from dev when moved to Prod is not visible on Prod?? Recently there was an unmanaged solution in which certain changes to certain tables were made and someone deleted that solution, now what can be done???Changes like mandatory fields are not visible as mandatory field, choice if added or modified not visible and sections moved up or down is not visible, text field changes are visible.

If I am reading this correctly, a solution was deleted where some changes were made to the components. Unfortunately the solution itself is most likely gone, however it is only a container and the elements will still be in the components of it.

    If you
    • Create a new unmanaged solution,
    • Add the relevant tables including forms, views, fields and relationships.
    • Publish all customizations and export the solution again.
    • Import into a test environment before importing into Production
You should get the same result.

Is this what you are meaning ?

Use DEV as the source of truth, identify exactly which components are missing or being overridden, validate the solution in UAT, and then deploy the corrected solution to Production.
