Need Help Integrating Power Automate Flow with Power Apps

Hi everyone,

I’m working on an app that allows users to enter data into a form and submit it. A Power Automate flow then triggers on submission to push the record into a SharePoint list.

I’m running into an issue when trying to add the Power Automate flow to my Power App. I’m currently getting the following error:

'Run' is an unknown or unsupported function in namespace 'Flow_NewRequest'

Here’s what I’ve set up so far:

  • Both the Power Automate flow and the Power App are in the same environment.
  • The flow starts with “When Power Apps calls a flow (V2)” and ends with “Respond to a Power App or flow”.

I’m fairly new to Power Apps and not sure what steps I need to take to resolve this issue. Any guidance or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance.

Set(
    varNewFlowResult,
    Flow_NewRequest.Run(varSubmissionID)
);

This is having any parameter - If not please add the parameter.

You are trying to pass the parameter to Power Automate from Power Apps, but the error stating there is no variable / parameter in the flow.

I have added a parameter called "SubmissionID" with the “When Power Apps calls a flow (V2)”.

    Please see attachment.

    Thanks,

You would have to add all seven of those options into the run command. Another reason why the flow is not built in the same environment as the app. Within the app check the add Power Automate flows and see if you see your flow. If not, then you have to create the flow from within the app then you can edit within Power Automate.

You have to pass all params throught the .Run(...) methode eventhogh are empty, You have to pass them to Power Automte Workflow with empty Value !
