Inside our power apps canvas application, we are using this Bing maps' GetRouteV2(), as follow, to get the distance between the login user and the asset coordination:-

Set(d, BingMaps.GetRouteV2(
(relatedAsset.Latitude & ", " & relatedAsset.Longitude),
(Location.Latitude & ", " & Location.Longitude)
).travelDistance);

now we received this email today from Microsoft about "Bing Maps for Enterprise Platform End of Life",

so what we need to do? do we need to change the code? or it is just purchasing new license, so the code will stay working as-is?

Microsoft has announced that Bing Maps for Enterprise will be retired, and they are encouraging users to migrate to Azure Maps.

Here’s what you need to know:

If you have a Basic or Free Bing Maps for Enterprise license, you will lose access after June 30, 2025 unless you upgrade to a paid Enterprise license.

If you have a paid Enterprise license, you can continue using Bing Maps for Enterprise until June 30, 2028.

Microsoft is unifying its mapping services under Azure Maps, which offers similar functionality and additional features.

What You Need to Do:

Check Your License Type – If you're using a free or basic license, you’ll need to migrate before June 30, 2025, or upgrade to a paid Enterprise license.

Consider Migrating to Azure Maps – Microsoft recommends transitioning to Azure Maps, which provides similar APIs and additional capabilities.

Update Your Code – If you migrate to Azure Maps, you’ll need to modify your Power Apps code to use Azure Maps APIs instead of GetRouteV2().
