Hi All

I hope and trust you are well in our Organization a few weeks ago we started experiencing an issue whereby our apps stopped working and kept freezing.

when it Freezes it keeps saying getting data

We then created a new SQL connection, and it fixed the issue on most apps.H0owever its still connecting to the very same tables .

On one specific app the problem is not going away Iam having user complaining .I a myself don't have the issue and I have seen a few users also experiencing the same issue.

I developed this app 5 years ago and its been working fine its a canvas app .

My Thought process is to run a trace on the App whilst the user with an issue is working to see why its Freezing .

Any Ideas what is causing this ?

PowerApps keeps freezing

This issue is caused by an expired or corrupted authentication token. We’re seeing it a lot on tablets, where the app gets stuck on the first loading screen before anything appears. Microsoft refreshes tokens roughly every 90 minutes, and when that refresh fails, the app can’t authenticate properly, so it never gets past the loading stage.

Quick fix:

Sign out of any Microsoft application (Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, etc.) and sign back in. This forces a clean token refresh.

For stubborn cases, clear the cache first, then sign out and back in.

It’s more common when the app uses connectors that rely on OAuth2 authentication, such as the User Profile or Groups connector. SQL connections through a gateway can fail the same way when the token is bad.

There are other possible causes, but this token problem is the most common one we encounter.

i have set up a session with my users tomorrow will do just that it definately does make sense to me
