New to Power Platform - where to start my journey?

Hi,
I've been a Power BI Developer for the past eight years and I've now been asked to lead the Power Platform (PP) journey within my company. I will be tasked with learning the full suite and demonstrating its capability.
I know very little of PP at present. I know the names of the individual tools that make up the platform but that's about it. I'm reaching out to you for guidance on where and how to start my journey. I will need to understand each tool, their purpose and how they interact with each other. I will need to take a holistic approach to this learning. I learn by doing.

Is there a course(s) (whether paid-for or free) that comes highly recommended?  A lot of courses I see online (YT) tend to be an hour or less and this isn't the detailed training I'm looking for. I'm looking for something in-depth that pieces each area together.
In which order should I learn the tools (i.e. Power Automate first, then Co-Pilot, just for an example)?

As a Power BI Developer I find myself in any team. It doesn't have to be a software house or in an I.T. department. I like this as I don't like the formal processes that are often associated with an I.T. department. What type of environments/teams are Power Platform Developers tied to?  Is it general Business departments or specialised I.T. departments?

I feel Power BI will be in demand for years to come. I don't fear job security or lack of opportunities with Power BI. What does the future hold for a PP Developer?  Will they be in greater demand than Power BI or will the job opportunities be limited?

I'll keep my questions to just these for now as I really know nothing of the subject, therefore any guidance you can give me will be much appreciated.
Thanks.

You can try joining https://powerup.microsoft.com/.  It's a free course, very comprehensive and should help you understand further

I was in your shoes like 4-5 years ago, I was working on SQL Server, SSIS and SSRS back then, and i was given a Power BI opportunity and then Power Apps.

As you are a Power BI developer, It will be smooth addition for you, In my view there is no particular order or anything as such.

I would suggest using Microsoft learn, Use the "prepare for exam" sections in PL-900, PL-200 etc certification pages, In this way you will learn every tool step by step. As of Co-Pilot, you can learn it using Copilot Studio Agent Academy https://microsoft.github.io/agent-academy/ (hands on)

For more structured courses, you can take a look at these
    1. 90 Day Mentoring Challenge (Power Platform) https://www.90daymc.com/ (paid)
    2. Power up Program https://powerup.microsoft.com/ (free)
    3. Solutions Architect Accelerator program (https://www.untethered365.com/architects-accelerator) (paid) (I was enrolled in this)
    4. Powerapps 911 https://training.powerapps911.com/courses/power-apps-and-power-automate-getting-started (free) (they have paid and live ones as well)

As you mentioned, Even Power Platform guys are not always tied to an IT department, Like if you take my example, I used to work for a IT services company as a Senior Software engineer, now I am more on business side as a Solutions Architect for HR department of a Hospital Chain, I work independently and exclusively for HR not tied to IT.  It mostly depends on the job role and level of solutions that client or company needs.

No one can predict the future, but Power Platforms is rapidly evolving as per market, Code Apps just got generally available and there is vibe.powerapps.com and many firms are adopting power platforms.
