You can either practice them in your own Tenant/Environment and in most cases you should be able to reproduce them in your Student Environment, without issue.
If you have any specific questions or need help with actually trying it, unfortunately you would need to share more specifics as we do not all have access to the current sessions so its harder to be specific
But yes there shouldn't be a reason you are blocked from implementing the Demo, however, saying that, there are many times IN the demo's they are doing things, with data or other configuration that you won't have in the Student assets so its possible a specific step or action they take you may not fully be able to do, or it maybe confusing.
So feel free to post here. Feel free to video the video and post it here and explain what you are stuck on and happy to help walk you through how to perform that action or what it means.
