Hey guys,
is there a way to automatically set the credit limit for an agent?

Doing it by hand is really starting to take a lot of time.

Yes. As of 2026, Microsoft now supports setting a monthly Copilot Credit limit at the individual-agent level, so you no longer necessarily need to do this manually

inside each agent.

Hi @11manish,
I think you misunderstood me there. I'm familiar with the feature, but I'm looking for a way to set these limits automatically or to set a default limit for all new agents.

Hello @Louisa# - Currently, I don't see there is an option to configure a default monthly credit limit that is automatically applied to every newly created agent.

The agent-level monthly limit needs to be configured individually from Licensing > Copilot Studio > Manage Agents

(that you already know :-))

Additionally, Microsoft does provide APIs/SDKs to automate environment-level Copilot Credit allocations, but that is different from setting a monthly consumption limit on each agent.
